In all Ontario foodservice businesses, it is required to have one person available on premises at all times who is certified under regulated food handler’s training. Our partners are equipped to certify your professionals where food is prepared, processed, served, packaged or using the BASICS.fst course. Participants learn everything they need to know in order to comply with public health requirements and how to apply food safe practices in the workplace. Participants are provided with the BASICS.fst course book and certification upon successful completion of exam. Certification is valid for 5 years.


Food Handler Certification is an effective food handler certification course in Canada to gain Food Safety (Food Handler) Certification without the restriction of attending an in-class seminar; an ideal strategy for those with a busy schedule.

The interactive program allows learners to gain quality knowledge about food safety, as well thoroughly prepares learners for the food handler certification exam.

​This course is certified through SafeCheck® Advanced Food Safety, which is a government recognized Food Handler Certification Course online in every part of Canada. 

This course covers:

The final exam is done online and an Official Certificate will be issued upon completion.

Your Food Handler Certificate will be valid for 5 years in your province & across Canada.
